Volunteering at the United Nations
I recently had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the United Nations! From manning the front desk to helping with setup and cleanup, it was such a rewarding experience to contribute to an event of this scale. The highlight? Meeting Randhir Amoganthan and witnessing an amazing panel discussion on sustainable businesses.
The panel was truly enlightening, diving into how businesses can be a force for good while maintaining sustainability. As someone who has organized Model UNs in the past, being part of a real UN event was both exhilarating and inspiring. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the impact these discussions have in shaping tangible change.
Volunteering here was a reminder of why I’m so passionate about global issues and diplomacy. I walked away with new knowledge, new connections, and a renewed drive to continue working on causes that matter.
